What moves the silver price
Silver is both a precious and an industrial metal: solar panels, electronics and EVs account for more than half of demand. It trades on Fed rate expectations like gold and on factory activity like copper.
Silver is roughly twice as volatile as gold. The gold-to-silver ratio, how many ounces of silver buy one ounce of gold, has ranged from about 40 to over 100 and is a popular gauge of relative value.
How to buy silver with crypto
Silver futures also trade on crypto exchanges, settled in USDT, around the clock and with leverage. Prices, volumes and all venues are in our Stocks & commodities section.
