How to read bitcoin dominance
Rising dominance means money is flowing into bitcoin faster than into the rest of the market. That happens early in a bull cycle, when BTC moves first, and in sell-offs, when money leaves altcoins for the safer asset.
Falling dominance in a rising market is the classic sign of altcoin season: money rotates from bitcoin into altcoins. Check the Altcoin Season Index for confirmation.
USDT dominance rises when the market moves into stablecoins, that is, into cash. It usually coincides with corrections.
