What moves the natural gas price
This is the US Henry Hub price in Louisiana, the benchmark for American gas and LNG exports. It is quoted in dollars per million British thermal units (MMBtu).
Natural gas is the most volatile major commodity: weather forecasts, storage reports and LNG terminal outages can move it double digits in a week. European gas trades separately on the Dutch TTF hub and usually costs several times more.
