What moves the soybeans price
Soybeans are the main source of plant protein for feed and cooking oil. China buys about 60% of world imports, supplied mostly by Brazil and the US.
That makes soybeans a barometer of US–China trade relations: tariffs and purchase deals move them as much as the weather.
