What drives the rate

Russian ruble. Since the June 2024 sanctions the dollar no longer trades on the Moscow Exchange, so the central bank sets its official rate from over-the-counter bank trades. The ruble moves mainly on the key rate, export revenue and oil prices.

This is the interbank market rate. The Bank of Russia sets its official rate once a day from the previous day's trades, so it can differ slightly; banks and exchange offices add their own margin.

USDT to RUB rate

USDT is a dollar-pegged stablecoin, so its rate is almost the dollar rate. Exchangers and P2P sellers add their own markup. USDT/RUB rate →
