Wyoming is bringing Chainlink Proof of Reserve to its state-backed stablecoin, the Frontier Stable Token (FRNT). The Wyoming Stable Token Commission has adopted Chainlink Proof of Reserve to broadcast real-time reserve data for FRNT directly on-chain.
How It Works
Proof of Reserve syncs verified collateral data with FRNT’s on-chain info. The idea? Full transparency. Anyone—users or integrators—can check up-to-date reserve status right on the blockchain.
Next Up: Secure Mint
The next phase is Chainlink Secure Mint integration. New FRNT tokens will only be minted if there’s a one-to-one backing with confirmed reserves. This ties token issuance directly to live on-chain proof of collateral.
Cross-Chain Infrastructure
Wyoming has already tapped Chainlink CCIP as the exclusive infrastructure for moving FRNT between blockchains. The goal: unified rules for cross-chain stablecoin operations and seamless bridging.
