The Winklevoss Zcash ETF has filed a registration statement with the SEC for listing on Nasdaq under the ticker WINK. The proposed fund will hold ZEC directly, charge an annual sponsor fee of 0.25%, and may receive up to $100 million in investments from affiliated Winklevoss Capital entities on a non-binding basis.

Winklevoss Asset Services as Sponsor, Gemini Trust as Custodian

The fund's sponsor is Winklevoss Asset Services, with custody of ZEC provided by affiliated Gemini Trust Company. The fund will not use leverage or derivatives to achieve its investment objective.

ETF to Provide Zcash Access via Brokerage Account

The product structure will allow investors to gain exposure to Zcash through a traditional brokerage account without directly purchasing or holding the private cryptocurrency. Zcash uses zero-knowledge proofs for encrypted transactions, concealing amounts and the identities of senders and recipients.
