US spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $6.34 billion in net inflows in Q3 2026, while BTC rose 42.71% over the same period.
According to SoSoValue, this was the strongest quarter of the year for the funds following a weak first half. CoinGlass estimates that Bitcoin’s quarterly performance was the highest since Q4 2024 and the best Q3 result since 2017.
September inflows at $2.65B, 25% below August
September ended with net inflows of $2.65 billion, compared to $3.52 billion in August and $172 million in July. The end of the month was weaker: on Wednesday, funds recorded about $149 million in net outflows, breaking a nine-day inflow streak totaling around $3.1 billion.
Q3 offsets about $5B in Q2 outflows
Quarterly inflows partially offset roughly $5 billion in net outflows recorded in Q2.
Ether ETFs attract $3.05B; XRP, Solana, and Zcash funds post gains
Spot Ethereum funds saw about $3.05 billion in Q3 inflows after approximately $714 million in net outflows in Q2; Ethereum rose about 71% over the quarter. Among other altcoin funds: XRP ETFs attracted $308 million, bringing total net inflows to $1.79 billion. In September, Solana and Zcash funds also recorded inflows—$272 million and $246 million, respectively.
