Nearly all Starknet holders have voted in favor of transitioning the network from an L2 on Ethereum (ETH) to a post-quantum L1 blockchain.

The initiative was submitted as a proposal published on the Starknet Governance portal. The proposal calls for changing Starknet’s architecture from a layer-two solution to an independent layer-one blockchain with post-quantum security mechanisms.
