DoubleZero has launched a dedicated fiber-optic market data feed for Hyperliquid, providing professional trading firms with faster access to the exchange’s full order book. The service is the third venue in the Edge lineup, following Solana and Kalshi.
The feed covers Hyperliquid perpetuals and trade[XYZ] markets
The feed includes native Hyperliquid perpetual futures and markets operated by trade[XYZ], offering perpetual contracts on assets such as oil, gold, and silver. The feed was developed in collaboration with validators and ecosystem participants, including Hyperion DeFi, MAVAN, and Kinetiq.
Continuous, ordered stream for professional participants
According to DoubleZero, the service provides market makers, quant firms, and proprietary trading firms with a continuous and ordered stream of order book updates. Previously, participants needed to aggregate data via public APIs or run their own Hyperliquid nodes to access the full order book. The company notes that changes to public APIs have reduced the frequency and depth of updates available through them.
Similarity to traditional exchanges without colocation or execution
According to Hyperion DeFi CEO Hyunsu Jung, Hyperliquid’s market data infrastructure increasingly resembles practices at traditional electronic exchanges, where professional feeds are distributed over dedicated networks. However, Hyperliquid executes trades on-chain, and the DoubleZero service only transmits data without placing orders. Latency differences persist, as geography continues to provide advantages.
