The "Fed balance sheet" measures the total assets held by the U.S. Federal Reserve, mainly government bonds and mortgage-backed securities. When the balance sheet grows (the Fed buys assets), it adds money to the financial system, which often boosts crypto and Bitcoin prices; when it shrinks (the Fed sells assets), it pulls money out, usually putting downward pressure on crypto prices.
