The funding came through a fresh Dogotix share issue. After the round, Dogotix’s valuation shot past $6.3 billion, but Xpeng still holds a controlling stake in its robotics spin-off.
Where the Money’s Going
The new capital is earmarked to ramp up R&D for both hardware and software powering humanoid robots. Dogotix is also planning to boost physical AI training and beef up its smart manufacturing infrastructure.
