Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has weighed in on Bitcoin’s future—and he’s warning that big-money investors could soon have a hard time getting their hands on a full BTC. According to CZ, even millionaires might soon find it tough to buy a whole Bitcoin.
Why Millionaires Could Struggle to Buy 1 BTC
CZ pointed out that Bitcoin’s supply is hard-capped at 21 million coins. But there are already more millionaires in the world than there will ever be BTC. In his view, if every millionaire wanted to own just 1 BTC, there simply wouldn’t be enough to go around.
Fixed Supply Meets Growing Demand
Changpeng Zhao emphasized that Bitcoin’s scarcity is what makes it such a unique asset. As more wealthy investors get interested, the competition for each coin is only going to heat up. CZ believes this will make it increasingly difficult—even for the rich—to score a whole BTC.
Market Moves on Scarcity
CZ’s take lines up with a broader trend: limited supply and rising demand could make Bitcoin even more scarce. That could impact both how easy it is to buy BTC and how the market moves in the future.
