US spot bitcoin ETFs attracted about $191 million on Thursday, September 24, 2026, raising total inflows over the past six sessions to more than $2.8 billion and bringing the year-to-date figure to approximately $787 million.
Inflows decline for third consecutive day after $999M peak
Following a 2026 high of $999 million reached on Monday, daily inflows have fallen for three straight sessions, while bitcoin retreated from levels above $87,000. Thursday's volume was 81% lower than Monday's.
IBIT accounted for the majority of inflows
The largest spot bitcoin ETF by assets, BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), contributed about $163 million of Thursday’s inflow. Over six sessions, IBIT attracted approximately $1.35 billion, nearly half of all fund inflows.
September accelerated inflows; annual balance turned positive
The recent series of inflows reversed the 2026 result to a profit of about $787 million after a deficit of roughly $5.5 billion at the end of June. Since the start of September, $2.56 billion has been raised, compared to $3.52 billion in August.
At the time of publication, bitcoin was trading at $83,807, down 0.3% over the past 24 hours but about 8% higher for the week.
