Tether CTO Paolo Ardoino says the company isn't planning to launch its own blockchain. His comments come as the community speculates about possible changes to USDT's infrastructure.

Paolo Ardoino's Statement

Ardoino made it clear that Tether is sticking with existing blockchains and isn't even considering building its own network. He said the team's focus remains on developing and supporting USDT within the ecosystems that are already out there.

USDT and Supported Blockchains

Right now, USDT runs on a bunch of major blockchains. Tether hasn't announced any plans to migrate to its own chain or make big changes to the token's technical setup.

The Company's Position

According to Ardoino, Tether will stick to its current strategy and keep USDT running smoothly on the platforms it already supports. Launching a dedicated blockchain for USDT just isn't on the table.
