Proceeds from MSTR also used to repurchase preferred STRC
Of the $246.2 million in net proceeds from the MSTR sale, $142.7 million was allocated to bitcoin and $103.5 million to repurchase preferred STRC shares. In total, Strategy repurchased 1.53 million STRC shares for $151.7 million, adding $48.1 million from USD Cash funds.
USD Cash and separate reserve declined week over week
The USD Cash balance fell to $1 billion from $1.05 billion after using $48.1 million to repurchase STRC. The separate dollar reserve, maintained for paying dividends on preferred shares and interest on debt, decreased to $5.02 billion from $5.04 billion after $22.1 million in dividend payments.
