In St. Petersburg, a 38-year-old woman took 3,125,814 rubles from a 76-year-old pensioner under the pretext of "declaration and safekeeping." Shortly after, an unknown man pushed her and snatched the bag containing the money. Police are investigating two cases—fraud and robbery. Two suspects have been detained in connection with the robbery.

According to the investigation, the scammers convinced the pensioner to hand over the cash "for declaration and safekeeping." The 38-year-old woman arrived to collect the money, and soon after, a man approached her, pushed her in the back, and grabbed the bag with the cash. After the robbery, the "victim" contacted the police herself, where it was revealed that she had just received the money from the 76-year-old woman.
