South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT has tapped three major consortiums to drive its national 'AI for All' program. By the end of the year, the government plans to give citizens free, unlimited access to AI services—no cap on the number of queries.

How the Launch Will Work

The ministry will ink agreements with project participants in September, kicking off the beta test right after. By year’s end, the plan is for everyone to get open, unrestricted access to these AI platforms at no cost.

Operators and Infrastructure

The initiative will be led by groups headed by SK Telecom, Kakao, and KT. To power the platforms, the government is handing over a total of 512 Nvidia B200 accelerators to these companies.

Key Details

'AI for All' is a government-backed push to make AI services widely available to the public. The final launch details will be ironed out after the agreements are signed and the beta wraps up.
