ServisFirst Bank, a US-based institution with over $18 billion in assets, has teamed up with UK fintech provider Covecta to roll out AI agents across its workflows. The partnership aims to automate routine tasks outside of the bank's mission-critical systems.
Shifting to an Agent-Based Operations Model
Michael Lindsey, Chief Information and Operations Officer at ServisFirst Bank, said the new tools will cut down on manual processes and help the bank move faster toward an agent-based operating model.
Focus: Outside of Core Banking Systems
The AI agents will be integrated into processes that don't touch the bank's core systems, letting the team zero in on boosting day-to-day efficiency without impacting critical infrastructure.
Covecta's Track Record
Covecta, a fintech startup launched in 2024, already counts Metro Bank in the UK and b1Bank in the US among its clients using its solutions.
