On Tuesday, Ripple expanded its agreement with Brevan Howard: Ripple Prime will provide the global investor’s managed funds with multi-asset prime brokerage, clearing, and financing services across both traditional and digital markets. Brevan Howard manages approximately $35 billion in assets.

The deal is based on a $500 million investment in 2025

The agreement builds on the companies’ existing relationship: funds affiliated with Brevan Howard participated in a $500 million investment in Ripple in 2025, valuing the company at $40 billion. “As digital and traditional markets converge, the need for institutional digital asset infrastructure that delivers a seamless experience for investors continues to grow,” said Brevan Howard Chief Operating Officer Alan McGroarty. The investment manager serves global clients, including sovereign wealth funds, corporate and public pension plans, foundations, and endowments.

Ripple Prime raised $275 million for expansion

The agreement comes as Ripple expands its prime brokerage business: in August, Ripple Prime raised $275 million through a senior note issuance to fund its prime brokerage, financing, and multi-asset clearing operations.
