QuFi Network has launched a post-quantum verification platform designed to shield digital assets from future quantum threats—without forcing any changes to existing payment networks. To show off how it works, the team used the Bitcoin Testnet4 environment.
Off-Chain Verification and Compact Proofs
The core idea behind QuFi is to separate transaction verification from final settlement. The platform runs on a network of independent nodes that handle cryptographic checks before any funds move. Once that's done, a compact proof of correctness gets pushed to the blockchain.
Why Take Verification Off-Chain?
According to the developers, this approach is all about beefing up defenses against potential quantum attacks while staying fully compatible with today’s infrastructure—no need to tweak or upgrade existing payment networks.
Demo on Bitcoin Testnet4
The demo took place on Bitcoin Testnet4, where the team tested out the off-chain verification setup and then submitted a compact proof to the blockchain. QuFi is pitching this as an add-on layer, so there’s no need to modify any target payment networks.
