Payward, the parent company behind crypto exchange Kraken, has inked a partnership with SoFi. The deal brings SoFiUSD, SoFi’s dollar-pegged stablecoin, to Kraken, hooks Payward into SoFi’s always-on USD settlement network, and gives SoFi a direct line to digital asset liquidity through Kraken Prime.
SoFiUSD Now on Kraken
Both companies confirmed that SoFiUSD will be listed on Kraken. This move gives Kraken users access to SoFi’s new USD-backed stablecoin, though neither side is disclosing further details or a launch timeline just yet.
24/7 USD Settlements for Payward
By plugging Payward into SoFi’s USD settlement network, the partnership enables round-the-clock, real-time USD transfers within the SoFi infrastructure. Forget banking hours—this setup lets money move instantly between parties, any time of day or night.
Prime Liquidity for SoFi via Kraken
As part of the agreement, SoFi will tap into digital asset liquidity through Kraken Prime. That means SoFi can directly access Kraken’s institutional trading ecosystem for crypto transactions within its own service framework.
