MetaMask reported a security incident that impacted part of the company's infrastructure. No immediate threat to MetaMask wallets has been identified. As a precaution, the company has begun withdrawing the affected validators from non-custodial staking.

According to the company, the issue is limited to its infrastructure perimeter. In response to the incident, MetaMask initiated the withdrawal of those validators that may have been affected from non-custodial staking. The situation does not impact user wallets: no threats to them have been detected at this time.
