Law enforcement has shut down a scam call center in Lutsk that was pitching fake crypto investments. Operators lured people with promises of big returns from crypto, stocks, and forex markets. According to police, the mastermind behind the operation was raking in as much as $500,000 in profits every month.

The call center posed as a legit investment firm. Cops say staff would introduce themselves as financial analysts, brokers, or "representatives of international investment companies" to gain trust from potential victims.

Victims were promised quick and hefty profits from "investing" in crypto, stocks, and currency markets. The team pressured people to sign up and hand over their info.
