The Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP) has clarified the procedure for seizing cryptocurrency from debtors: a bailiff sends an order to the digital depository instructing it to debit funds from the debtor's account and transfer them to government accounts. According to the agency's leadership, this is sufficient to enforce such a decision.
According to the agency, regional FSSP offices are currently handling 1 enforcement proceeding to transfer cryptocurrency to state revenue, acquired with income of unconfirmed legality, and 13 enforcement proceedings for the confiscation of cryptocurrency.
The FSSP is a federal body responsible for the enforcement of court decisions and acts of other authorities. The published clarifications specify the practical procedure for transferring digital assets to state revenue and confiscation when carrying out relevant rulings.
