Elon Musk has opened up X Money to every Premium and Premium+ subscriber in the US. X Money is the built-in payments service on X (formerly Twitter), and it’s part of Musk’s bigger plan to turn the platform into a true “everything app” where users can connect and manage their money all in one place.

What’s new

Now, X Money is available to the entire premium crowd in the US: Anyone with a Premium or Premium+ subscription can enable the service directly in the app.

How the rollout happened

X started rolling out its payments service in stages back in July, but until recently, not everyone could get access. Now, every user on the listed paid tiers can jump in.

Why X is doing this

Bringing X Money to all Premium users fits right into the “everything app” vision: Payments are now a core part of the X ecosystem, letting users handle both their conversations and their finances without ever leaving the platform.
