Ukrainian national Margarita Glushko, who has called herself Pavel Durov’s wife since 2017, filed a complaint in a California court against the Telegram founder. In her filing, she accused Durov of stalking, threats, blackmail, and sexual harassment. The court tossed out her complaint, but Glushko still has the option to refile.
What the accuser claims
According to Glushko, Durov allegedly tried to poison her with Dr. Pepper, sent people armed with knives and machetes to her, and even offered her a Cybertruck-shaped coffin as a “gift.” These claims are based solely on her statements.
What she asked the court for
Glushko asked the court to order Durov to stay at least 90 meters away from her and to award her $850 in damages. The judge denied her request, but she retains the right to try again.
Background
For years, Glushko has posted photo collages featuring Durov online, called herself his “official wife,” and claimed she plans to “give him many heirs.” There’s no evidence Durov was ever in a relationship with her.
