Crypto.com has stated that its personal AI agent, ai.com, remains under development and in stealth mode nearly eight months after its $15 million Super Bowl advertising debut in February.

The ai.com site still shows a waitlist due to "high demand"

Ai.com is a business line of Crypto.com. At launch in February, advertising traffic overwhelmed the site within minutes as users rushed to reserve names for their personal agents. Nearly eight months later, the site still displays a message indicating that agent generation is queued "due to high demand." A Crypto.com spokesperson confirmed that the platform is still being developed: "ai.com continues to evolve in stealth mode; we will provide more details at the full public launch."

Competitors have already launched specialized AI assistants

While ai.com prepares for public release, several platforms have introduced their own, more specialized solutions. Robinhood announced built-in AI agents for automated trading. In July, Kraken added AI-based tools to identify investment opportunities based on user goals. In June, Bitget launched the GetAgent AI assistant for crypto trading.

Crypto.com develops related AI services and standards

In March, Crypto.com launched integration with OpenClaw, allowing clients to deploy a personal AI agent to execute trades. That same month, the company announced a workforce reduction of about 12%, linking it to broader AI integration and reallocating resources to priority areas. In February, Crypto.com also received ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification—an international standard for AI management systems for responsible development and implementation.

ai.com ambitions extend beyond finance

The February announcement of ai.com described agents capable of organizing work, sending messages, operating across different applications, assembling projects, developing missing skills independently, and sharing improvements across the network. Over the past six months, major AI developers have also expanded everyday assistant capabilities, including computer management and executing multi-step tasks.
