On Wednesday, Bloomberg launched an on-chain stablecoin dashboard on Bloomberg Terminal, providing hourly metrics on circulating supply, issuance, and transaction activity. The dashboard covers over 98% of the stablecoin market by including coins with a circulating supply above $100 million.
Metric Comparison by Network and Peg Type
The panel, built on the Allium blockchain data platform, enables users to compare stablecoins by supply, mints, burns, transfer volume, and velocity. It also allows for detailed analysis by individual blockchains and by peg type—whether to fiat currencies or commodities.
Terminal Access and Position Among Financial Tools
The dashboard is available to all Bloomberg Terminal users via RWAS GO, placing on-chain metrics alongside existing tools for bond, foreign exchange, and money markets. The Terminal is widely used by banks, asset managers, and other financial professionals for market data, news, analytics, trading, and communications.
Bloomberg has published bitcoin prices on its platform since 2014 and now provides quotes, reference data, identifiers, and benchmarks for 50 cryptocurrencies. The stablecoin market capitalization has surpassed $306 billion, with USDT accounting for about 60% of the total.
