Bitdeer had a monster August, reporting 1,310 BTC mined—a 249% year-over-year surge. On the infrastructure side, the company's own hash rate hit about 79.9 EH/s, with joint mining partnerships adding another 21.6 EH/s. Meanwhile, its AI division brought in roughly $86 million in revenue for the month, up from about $76 million in July.

Mining & Hashrate: Scaling Up

That 1,310 BTC haul in August was fueled by a ramp-up in available computing power. Bitdeer says its self-mining hash rate landed around 79.9 EH/s, plus 21.6 EH/s more from joint mining. These numbers show Bitdeer's ongoing push to grow its mining fleet and make the most of its hardware.

AI Services & Hardware Investments

The AI segment pulled in close to $86 million in August, beating July’s ~$76 million. To keep up with rising demand for AI compute, Bitdeer bought 133 server racks loaded with GB300 GPUs. This hardware boost lets the company better serve the growing appetite for AI workloads and related services.

New Data Center Projects: Bhutan & Malaysia

Bitdeer signed a non-binding agreement to build an AI-focused data center in Bhutan’s “City of Mindfulness” in Gelephu, with a potential power capacity of up to 500 MW. At the same time, the company secured a deal to expand its operations in Malaysia. These moves give Bitdeer more room to scale both mining and AI, by tapping into new regions and diverse energy profiles.

Bottom line for August: Bitdeer saw major growth in BTC production, a bigger hash rate, and steady progress in AI. The combo of new sites, extra hardware, and climbing AI revenue sets the stage for even more expansion in services and infrastructure.
