The Aster team is extending the lock on its tokens until September 17, 2027. We're talking about 400 million ASTER, which makes up 5% of the project's max supply.

What’s Changed?

The original plan had monthly unlocks of 10 million ASTER starting September 17, 2026. Now, that entire tranche stays locked for another 12 months—so no 2026 unlocks are happening at all.

Burn and Buyback

The buyback and burn mechanism for ASTER is still rolling as before. When burning, tokens from the team’s allocation will be prioritized first.
