Durable Goods Orders measures new orders for long-lasting products like cars and appliances in the US. An increase signals economic strength, which can heighten expectations of Fed rate hikes and dampen demand for risk assets like bitcoin. Weak data, conversely, supports risk appetite and can benefit cryptocurrencies.
