The Federal Open Market Committee meeting is the single biggest macro event of the month for crypto. The committee decides whether to raise, cut or hold the policy rate, and publishes its projections.

Why it matters for crypto: the Fed rate sets the price of dollar money. Easing (a cut, or hints of one) usually lifts risk assets — equities and bitcoin. Tightening weighs on them. Bitcoin often reacts sharply to the decision and the chair's press conference: watch the order-book and liquidation maps as it lands.
